Over the course of July, August, and September 2026, Russia launched at least 350 strikes on Kyiv and its surroundings. According to French analyst Clément Molin, these attacks included both missile and drone strikes.
Strike Statistics
According to Molin's calculations, the number of strikes on Kyiv is distributed as follows:
- July: 112 strikes (including 70 missile strikes)
- August: 124 strikes (over 21 missile strikes)
- September: 117 strikes (over 25 missile strikes)
It is important to note that the data for August and September are still incomplete, as some missile strikes on industry and infrastructure are recorded with delays.
Targets of the Attacks
The primary targets of the Russian strikes have been warehouses and other strategic facilities. According to Molin, the number of attacks on warehouses has increased:
- July: 31 warehouses
- August: 52 warehouses
- September: 62 warehouses
In addition to warehouses, industrial enterprises, military facilities, and numerous civilian objects have also come under fire.
Future Predictions
Clément Molin noted that due to the shortage of missiles for the Patriot systems and the mass use of reactive drones by Russia, most missiles and drones reach their targets. He warned that the coming months could be extremely difficult for the residents of Kyiv.
