Today, November 6, 2026, Serhiy Duka, the General of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), appeared in court for his case. Prosecutors and lawyers are also present. As long as the judge has not announced a closed session, journalists are allowed to remain in the courtroom.

Current Court Situation

The High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) is currently considering the prosecutor's motion from the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP) to disqualify Judge Voronko in Duka's case. The prosecutor stated that the defense is trying to delay the proceedings so that the court does not have time to choose a preventive measure.

Charges and Evidence

Prosecutor Karas claims that armed individuals threatened detectives from the NABU during a search. He also reported that Duka allegedly destroyed evidence by smashing phones with an axe. The prosecutor is requesting that the suspect be taken into custody with an alternative bail of 100 million hryvnias.

Defense's Position

General Duka denies the accusations, asserting that the delay in the proceedings is due to the prosecution's actions. He noted that the judges were ready to hear the case as early as 10:00, but the prosecutor only arrived at 14:00.
