In the occupied city of Oleshky in Kherson Oblast, a humanitarian catastrophe is ongoing, with children remaining in dangerous conditions. Currently, there are 47 minors in the city who are at risk due to the artificially created hunger.

The Minister for Communities, Territories, and Internally Displaced Persons of Ukraine, Vitaliy Bezgin, stated during a briefing that the situation in the city is critical. The lack of food and basic resources poses serious threats to the lives of children and other residents.

During the briefing, Vitaliy Bezgin mentioned his conversation with Tatyana Gasanenko, the head of the military administration of Oleshky. She confirmed that children remain in the city and are in urgent need of assistance. The authorities are calling on the international community to pay attention to this situation and provide the necessary humanitarian aid.

The situation in Oleshky could have serious consequences for the health and mental state of children. In conditions of prolonged hunger and lack of access to medical services, children may face:
