Special Parking Spaces for Drivers with Children Under Three to Appear in Ukraine

In Ukraine, special parking spaces for drivers with children under three years old will be introduced. This decision was made by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, as reported by Ivan Vyhovsky, the Minister of Internal Affairs.

Details of the Initiative

According to the minister, the new parking spaces will be marked with a special sign depicting a baby stroller. They are required to make up at least 5% of the total number of parking spots and must be located no further than 50 meters from the entrance to a building or area.

Conditions for Use

To utilize these special parking spaces, drivers will need to have:

  • a special sign on their vehicle;
  • a document confirming the child's age, which can be in paper or electronic form.

This initiative aims to ease access for parents with young children to essential facilities, providing convenience and safety.
