Terror Attack in Zaporizhzhia: 15 Dead, Including Children

On October 10, 2026, a terrorist attack occurred in Zaporizhzhia, resulting in the deaths of 15 people, including three children. The attack targeted a residential area, causing significant destruction and numerous casualties.

Details of the Attack and Rescue Operations

As a result of the shelling that started in the morning, 17 people were injured. Among them was a woman who was rescued after being trapped under the rubble for over 8 hours. She is currently receiving medical assistance. Rescue teams, police investigators, patrol dog handlers, and explosives experts are on-site conducting search and rescue operations.

Response to the Terrorist Act

In addition to Zaporizhzhia, terrorist acts also took place in Kharkiv and Kyiv. In Kharkiv, a drone hit a hospital, resulting in casualties. In Kyiv, a high-rise building and an office center were attacked, with fatalities reported. Air raid alerts continue to sound in various regions of Ukraine.
