On October 17, 2026, the Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Oksana Ferchuk, announced the introduction of a new feature in the 'Air Alarm' app. From now on, users will be able to monitor the movements of enemy targets online, including cruise missiles, strike drones, and other dangerous objects.

What Targets Will Be Displayed on the Map?

The new map in the 'Air Alarm' app will feature:

  • Cruise missiles;
  • Strike drones 'Shahed', including reactive ones;
  • Guided aerial bombs (KAB);
  • 'Banderolets'.

This feature will allow Ukrainians to receive up-to-date information about threats in real-time, significantly enhancing safety levels.

Limitations Regarding Ballistic Missiles

However, as Oksana Ferchuk pointed out, ballistic missiles will not be displayed on the map. This is due to the difficulty in tracking them and their high speed, which complicates monitoring.

Thus, the new feature in the 'Air Alarm' app will become an important tool for increasing public awareness of aerial threats and timely responses to them.
