Kyslytsia noted that this differs from a good faith mistake and is usually grounds for dismissal and retraction of the publication. His comment seemingly refers to Mendel's recent interview in which she claimed to have helped Zelensky come to power, even though she joined his team after his inauguration. She also asserted that she taught the president how to communicate with the media, as he 'couldn't even speak.'
