In the next 48 hours, an increased threat of ballistic strikes is expected in Ukraine, particularly targeting Kyiv and the surrounding region. This comes as a result of warnings from U.S. intelligence about a possible mass combined strike.
Threat of Strikes on Kyiv
According to the information provided by intelligence, there is a high likelihood that Russia may carry out strikes on key facilities in Ukraine. This raises serious concerns among the population and authorities, as such actions could lead to new casualties and destruction.
Humanitarian Disaster in Kherson
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha emphasized Russia's responsibility for the humanitarian disaster unfolding in the temporarily occupied left-bank part of Kherson. He noted that:
- Russia is blocking the delivery of food and medical supplies;
- It is obstructing the work of humanitarian missions;
- It is denying access for the evacuation of civilians.
Sybiha stressed that the situation in Oleshky and other occupied communities cannot be viewed as a humanitarian crisis that arose on its own. He called on international organizations, including the International Committee of the Red Cross, to actively participate in providing assistance.
