A traffic accident involving a pedestrian occurred in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv. The incident took place yesterday around 19:30 on Danila Shcherbakivskyi Street.
Investigators from the capital's police department arrived at the scene. According to preliminary information, a 68-year-old driver of a Toyota Venza was moving in the far left lane towards Mykola Bezruchko Street when a 60-year-old man crossed the roadway at an unauthorized location.
As a result, the driver hit the pedestrian, who sustained injuries and was hospitalized. Currently, investigators are determining all circumstances and mechanisms of the traffic accident, after which a legal assessment will be provided.
