On October 30, 2026, traffic on the Southern Bridge in Kyiv has been resumed. According to information from the Kyiv City Military Administration (KVMVA), traffic is now allowed in both directions, but only on one lane for vehicles weighing up to 10 tons.
Details of Traffic Resumption
On the Southern Bridge, vehicles can move in both directions, including:
- one lane from the left bank to the right bank;
- one lane in the opposite direction.
This move aims to ease the traffic flow in the city, especially considering the bridge's importance for connecting various districts of the capital.
Public Transport
Starting from October 31, 2026, ground public transport will also resume operations across the Southern Bridge. Specifically, the following routes will be reinstated:
- Route No. 22-TL;
- Route No. 22-TD;
- Route No. 91-T.
