On September 20, 2026, a tragedy occurred in Izmail: a dog died after sterilization due to a forgotten cloth left inside by veterinarians. The dog's owner paid 1000 hryvnias for the procedure.
Tragedy with the Dog in Izmail
After the sterilization, the veterinarians failed to notice that a piece of fabric was left inside the dog's body. This led to the animal's death, causing outrage among the owner and the public. Veterinary practice requires adherence to high safety standards, and this incident represents a serious violation.
Situation in Kyiv Region
Meanwhile, Kyiv region is again under attack. According to the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, several buildings were damaged in the Fastiv district:
- Windows and roofs of two buildings in Boyarka;
- The Alley of Memory of the fallen;
- Warehouses that caught fire.
In the Vyshhorod district, damage was also reported to two warehouse buildings and three units of equipment. Fortunately, according to preliminary information, there are no casualties or injuries.
Air Raid Alert All Clear
Today, several districts of Kyiv region experienced an air raid alert. However, as of 12:30, the alert was lifted in the Obukhiv, Boryspil, and Bila Tserkva districts, while the alert continues in the Brovary and Buchan districts.
Additionally, due to Russian attacks, trains across Ukraine are being delayed. About 50 trains are arriving late, with routes from Dnipro to Uzhhorod and Zaporizhzhia to Przemyśl delayed by 14 hours and 30 minutes.
