On September 30, 2026, the Kyiv region suffered yet another rocket-drone attack, which resulted in numerous destructions and tragedies. According to the head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration Timur Tkachенко, rescuers are already working at the scene, trying to save people and eliminate the consequences of the attack.
Consequences of the Attack in Vyshhorod
In Vyshhorod, rescuers managed to pull three people from the rubble of a destroyed private house, including a child. Unfortunately, the body of another child was found under the rubble. Rescuers continue the debulking, providing assistance to the victims:
- A man sustained shrapnel wounds to the head;
- A woman suffered leg injuries;
- The child is experiencing acute stress reaction.
As a result of the attack, fires were also reported in residential buildings and garages in Vyshhorod, as well as damage to glazing.
Situation in the Bucha District
In the Bucha District, the consequences of the attack were also significant. Here, the following were damaged:
- Three private houses;
- Eleven vehicles;
- Two warehouse facilities;
Additionally, a fire broke out in the area, complicating the work of rescue services. According to Tkachенко, the consequences of the attack on infrastructure facilities in the Bucha, Vyshhorod, and Obukhiv districts have also been recorded.
Government Response and Public Appeals
The head of the Kyiv ODA urged the population not to ignore air raid signals and to remain in shelters. The attack on the Kyiv region continues, and relevant services are working at the sites to mitigate the aftermath. The authorities express their sincere condolences to the relatives of the deceased child and promise comprehensive assistance to the victims.
