Former US President Donald Trump is attempting to reopen dialogue with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. According to The New York Times, Trump may reach out to Chinese President Xi Jinping for assistance in organizing a new meeting during his visit to Washington.
However, Pyongyang has yet to respond to Trump's initiatives. At the same time, North Korea continues to advance its nuclear and missile programs, stating that negotiations on denuclearization currently hold no prospects.
