Late in the evening on September 18, Russian terrorists shelled the city of Balakliia in the Izium district with strike drones. As a result of one of the explosions, a private residential building was destroyed. A couple, a 74-year-old man and a 71-year-old woman, were trapped under the rubble. Unfortunately, they did not survive.
During the efforts to eliminate the consequences of the enemy strike, rescuers retrieved the bodies of the deceased from under the debris. The work was carried out under the constant threat of repeated shelling.
