Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Koretsky stated that the country is better prepared for winter 2026 than it was last year. In particular, he noted that this year more generating capacities have been built, critical infrastructure protection has been strengthened, and equipment reserves have been increased.

Koretsky emphasized that several important measures have been implemented this year to enhance Ukraine's readiness for the winter period:

- Reserve power sources have been increased;
- The protection of critical infrastructure elements has been strengthened;
- Equipment reserves have been increased;
- The number of repair teams and equipment has been increased.
Financial Stability and Social Expenditures
In his interview for the telethon, the Prime Minister also stated that the government guarantees the fulfillment of all necessary decisions for receiving international financial assistance by October 15. Despite the budget deficit, he assured that all social expenditures will be financed on time and in full.
Combating Threats
One of the key tasks, according to Koretsky, is to scale up the production of interceptors for effective counteraction against the reactive drones of the Russian Federation. This issue remains a priority for ensuring the country's security in the face of modern challenges.
