On October 13, 2026, the Ukrainian government announced the allocation of an additional 60 billion UAH for the needs of the Defense Forces. This funding will be directed towards supporting military personnel and their families, as well as purchasing essential equipment.
Distribution of Funding
According to the information provided by the Prime Minister, the allocated funds will be distributed as follows:
- 43.5 billion UAH will be directed to payments for military personnel and support for their families;
- 16.6 billion UAH will be spent on purchasing ammunition, drones, electronic warfare (EW) and communication equipment;
- part of the funds will also be used for the repair and modernization of equipment.
