Sources of Additional Funding
To cover the $70 billion shortfall, the Ministry of Finance plans to attract funds through international mechanisms and partners. This includes arms supplies and other forms of international assistance that can help Ukraine secure the necessary resources to continue its defense efforts.
Budget Priorities for 2027
The budget draft for 2027 allocates 4.9 trillion UAH for defense, which includes increased payments to military personnel and raising the Reserve Fund to 200 billion UAH. These measures are aimed at supporting the military and ensuring the necessary resources for effective national defense.
