Details of the Agreement

According to information provided by senior fund official Connor Coleman, since the start of its operations, the fund has concluded five agreements with a total value of approximately $70 million. The new deal involves investments in a joint platform with BGV Group, a company founded by Ukrainian billionaire Gennady Butkevich.

Investment Directions

The joint investment platform will finance the development of deposits of the following minerals:

  • rare earth elements
  • uranium
  • beryllium
  • zirconium

Additionally, the fund plans to implement two new projects aimed at strengthening Ukraine's energy infrastructure in preparation for the winter season.

History of Cooperation

The agreement regarding Ukrainian resources was signed between Ukraine and the USA on April 30, 2025. The document stipulates the creation of a joint investment fund with an equal participation distribution of 50/50. From the Ukrainian side, the agreement was ratified by the Verkhovna Rada and signed by President Volodymyr Zelensky.
