On September 27, 2026, the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) conducted an important humanitarian mission, delivering food supplies to residents of temporarily occupied Oleshky. The military dropped aid at 100 locations throughout the city, marking a significant step in supporting the local population.
Volume of Delivery
According to the Kherson Regional Military Administration, approximately 4 tons of food were delivered as part of this operation. This reflects the UAF's efforts to provide humanitarian assistance to the population under the control of the occupiers.
Obstacles from the Occupiers
Despite the successful delivery, the occupiers are attempting to hinder humanitarian missions. It is reported that they:
- shoot down drones that are delivering aid;
- seize or resell humanitarian supplies;
- detain and beat local residents for receiving assistance.
These actions indicate serious violations of human rights and humanitarian law occurring under conditions of occupation.
