The Ukrainian Defense Forces, during the first stage of the 'Vivaldi' operation, cleared 75 sq. km of territory in the Lyman direction from Russian troops. As a result of these actions, Ukrainian forces regained control of 10 sq. km.
Additionally, Ukrainian forces struck enemy logistics, destroying a significant amount of equipment and personnel of the occupiers.
As a result of the operation, Russian forces lost the ability to conduct a broad encirclement of Sloviansk and Kramatorsk from the north.
