The US State Department has approved the potential sale of air defense equipment and services to Ukraine worth $2.68 billion. The package will include long-range air defense systems, mobile launchers, drone countermeasures radars, as well as spare parts, software, and technical support.
The financing for the purchase will be provided through contributions from European countries and previously allocated US funds under the Foreign Military Financing program.
