The US State Department has approved a potential sale of air defense systems to Ukraine worth $2.68 billion. Under this agreement, Ukraine may receive long-range air defense systems, mobile launchers, radars for detecting and countering drones, as well as spare parts, software, and technical support.
Funding for this deal will be provided through European contributions and previously allocated American funds under the Foreign Military Financing program.
