The US State Department has approved a potential sale of air defense systems to Ukraine worth $2.68 billion. As part of this agreement, Ukraine may receive long-range air defense systems, mobile launchers, and radars designed for detecting and countering drones.
Additionally, the package includes spare parts, software, and technical support. The funding for this deal will be provided through contributions from European countries and previously allocated US funds under the Foreign Military Financing program.
