On October 3, 2026, the 'Wild Drones' competition kicked off in Bukovina, featuring 20 teams, mostly consisting of military UAV operators who arrived directly from combat zones.
Competition Format and Participants
Over the course of two days, participants competed in controlling various types of drones, including:
- FPV drones Shrike,
- heavy bombers Vampire, known as 'Baba Yaga',
- DJI Mavic quadcopters.
This competition provided an excellent opportunity for operators to showcase their skills in conditions similar to combat.
Organizers and Purpose of the Competition
The event was organized by the 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade 'Cold Yar', the NGO 'Wild Race', the training center 'DOVZHIK', and CAS. The aim of the event is not only to enhance the skill level of operators but also to promote the use of UAVs in military operations.
