Ukrainian figure skater Yegor Kurtsiv won a silver medal at the junior Grand Prix stage held in Ankara. This achievement marks the best result for Ukraine in men's singles skating at this series of competitions in the last 28 years.
At the tournament, the 16-year-old athlete scored 201.95 points in total for two programs. The victory went to Japanese skater Daia Ebihara, who scored 216.66 points, while the third place was taken by South Korean Choi Ha-bin with a score of 194.89 points.
