On October 24, 2026, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky signed decrees imposing sanctions on manufacturers of Russian ballistic missiles and suppliers of components for the defense industry. These measures are a response to Russia's aggression, which utilizes ballistic missiles to attack Ukrainian cities and critical infrastructure.
Composition of the Sanctions List
The first sanctions list includes:
- 51 individuals;
- 44 legal entities.
These individuals and companies are involved in the production of missiles such as “Iskander”, “Kalibr”, X-101, and “Kinzhal”, which are used to strike Ukraine.
Second Package of Sanctions
The second package of restrictions affects:
- 32 citizens of the Russian Federation;
- 35 Russian companies supplying industrial equipment, tools, electronics, and raw materials for the Russian defense industry.
In particular, the sanctions also impact companies from the industrial group “Rusal”, which imported aluminum oxide into Russia worth nearly 150 million rubles from April 2024 to March 2025. This raw material was used in the production of military aviation, missiles, armored vehicles, and drones.
