Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky commented in an NBC interview on the sense of victory that Vladimir Putin feels due to sanctions, the diesel deal, and the impact of Starlink.
Putin's Sense of Victory
Zelensky pointed out that Putin perceives the sanctions imposed on Russia as a certain victory. The Ukrainian president emphasized that this feeling arises because Russia has managed to secure a diesel supply deal, which he believes sends a negative signal.
The Impact of Starlink
Furthermore, Zelensky highlighted the influence of the Starlink system, which, according to him, also contributes to strengthening Putin's position. He reported that the USA demanded limitations on the operational speed of Starlink and Starshield, and SpaceX complied with these requests, which could have serious consequences for Ukraine.
The Need for Honesty
Zelensky called for honesty in assessing the situation, noting the necessity to recognize the real implications of actions that may help or harm Ukraine in the context of war. He emphasized the importance of international support and clear communication with partners.
