Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that approximately 45% of the Shahed drones launched by Russia against Ukraine in September have not been intercepted or suppressed. He noted that over 2730 drones were launched in the incomplete month, with more than 1500 being shot down or suppressed.
